Portable 4-Zone Igniter Furnace Control System
This system is designed to control the temperature and the applied power to very small furnaces. The "igniter" furnaces have several heat zones and are used for specific material tests. The materials may have applications in industries ranging from jet engines to prosthetics. The system is designed to be easily moved from furnace to furnace with a minimum amount of down time; all power input, thermocouple, and power output connections are plug-in.

Large Display Infrared Temperature Indicating System
In many manufacturing facilities, the process may not be in close proximity to the control room or control panel. Typically, it is advantagous for the operator to regularly know the process variable and / or alarm condition. It was just that situation that prompted a customer to ask us for an infrared system that incorporated a large display of process temperature. The system pictured at the left was supplied with a 2-color infrared sensor, interconnecting cable, sensor power supply, power on/off switch and all mounted, prewired, fused and tested in a Nema-12 wall mounting enclosure. The display has big bright 2.25" high LED digits and can be seen from across the manufacturer's plant floor. The display color changes as alarm conditions change. This system has also been built with alarm outputs, process retransmission outputs and a sensor laser sighting on/off switch.

12-Zone Burn Building Temperature Monitoring System
Before this system is described, we want to take this opportunity to thank all of the fire fighters in our area and recognize the outstanding job they do day in and day out. A "burn building" is a structure that is built by local fire departments then, set on fire. The fire is intentionally set to determine how hot it burns, how quickly it spreads from room to room, how various contruction materials combust, what insulating materials may be best to use, etc. The image to the left is the lastest Burn Building Temperature Monitoring System. Pictured in front of the enclosure are special, high temperture sensors that are mounted through and behind walls within the burn building structure. This type of system may be designed with simple digital temperature indicators and / or with a multi-channel recorder for for data collection and analysis.

2-Zone Infrared Temperature Monitoring & Control Panel
This 2-zone temperature indicating & control system was designed to take 4-20mA signals from two IR transmitters and display both normal operating temperatures and peak temperatures of the processed parts. A DIN rail mounted power supply for the IR sensors and alarm relay outputs were also supplied as part of the system. The panel was prewired, calibrated, fused and tested prior to shipment.

Wireless Water Pumping Control System
A large military base requested that we help design a water level monitoring and control system. The system was an extremely simple concept. A person was to visually monitor water level in a holding pond. When the level got low, manually turn on pumps to refill the pond from the supply lakes. The tricky part was the pumps were close to the supply lakes - miles from the holding area and in a low lying area. By using wireless technology (transmitters, recievers & a signal repeater), the system was installed and working quickly without long, expensive runs of conduit, cable and hours of labor. Pictured at the left are the outdoor enclosures built to house all of the wireless equipment.

2-Zone Heated Table & Control System
Over the years, several customers have ask us to design & build heated tables. The applications for these tables have ranged from preheating plastic parts to heating valuable art work & paintings for restoration. Pictured at the left are the basic components used in our latest 2-zone system. Silicone rubber heating blankets are used for a smooth, consistant heat source and the custom control system is designed for high accuracy temperature & power control. Wireless Tornado & Fire Alarming System
A large manufacturing facility frequently re-arranges the interior layout of their plant for efficiency reasons. As a result of the changes, they regularly disassembled and relocated tornado and fire warning sirens. When the warning system was "hard-wired", the job was expensive and time consuming. By utilizing our wireless technology and plug-in power connections, the customer now relocates the receivers and sirens quickly and efficiently. Time, material and dollars saved. The image shows both the receiver and transmitter.

Glass Viscosity Temperature Control System
A glass manufacturer tests viscosity on their glass products in R&D labs. The tests are performed at temperatures over 2000*F and require a precision profile controller for ramp rates and dwells. The resistance of the heating system changes at various temperatures, so a phase angle SCR with current limit was used to accurately control the power. The control system was prewired, fused and tested, mounted on a 19" rack panel, ready for installation.

Custom pH & ORP Control / Monitoring System
A client that sells sophisticated finishing systems needed to control and monitor three (3) zones of pH and ORP. Our custom system was designed to control chemical feed pumps in both automatic and manual modes. The controllers and associated hardware were mounted, prewired, fused and tested in a NEMA-4 enclosure with a plexiglass viewing window. Sensors and cables were included in this turn-key process control solution.

Wireless Potable Water Monitoring System
A local steel producer wants to consantly monitor potable water levels and pressures in two separate supply wells. When water levels fall below defined sepoints, pumps are turned on to refill the wells. All signals are sent to a main PLC control system, approximately 3000ft away, via wireless transmission. Alarm conditions, pump status (on or off), the levels and pressures are all displayed on a touch screen monitor. The PLC controller was preprogrammed, all equipment mounted, prewired, fused, tested and supplied as a complete, ready-to-install system.
